What's On : Lions Fun Day and Donkey Derby

Donkey Races
    There are 5 races, starting at 1pm, at roughly 45 minute intervals, followed by the final,
     where the winners of each of these races competes for the Championship.
     There is also a Tote where you can have a flutter on the ones you fancy.
Other Displays
      In between the Donkey Races, there are other events to look at :
      Wild West demonstrations by the Santa Fe gunfighters
      Sussex Tornados Cheerleaders
       East Lancing Karate Club
       Tug of War Competition
Round the Park
      There will be lots to see and do elsewhere in the Park, especially for children, with a variety of stalls.
As always, the Vintage Vehicles are a favourite with many, and this year we are looking forward to a good selection, including a 1923 Bentley Open Tourer, Classic Austins, Rovers , Fords and VWs, a 1960 BMW Isetta, and a rare 1950 Jowett Jupiter. From America, a Chevrolet, a Lincoln and a Cadillac. Not just cars, but other vehicles from London Routemaster buses to a selection of classic motorcycles :
Honda Goldwings, Yamahas, a Triumph Tiger  a 1969 Raleigh Chopper, and a  vintage 1951  BSA -and 1930 BSA SV Sloper.
As well as vintage vehicles, there will be some present-day luxury limos to look at.
Another popular area is the Beer Tent, but we are very excited this year because - thanks to some expert help from a Sussex brewery, Hammerpot, and the CAMRA award winning Stanley Arms - we are presenting for the first time a specially chosen selection of draught ales and cider, as well as a selection of bottled real ale, in addition to our normal selection.
