Club Meetings

Our regular business meeting is on the Fourth Tuesday of every month, except December, starting at 8PM.
It is held in the Function Room Room at the Royal George Public House and Restaurant.

At the business meeting we discuss all aspects of the Clubs activity, encouraging a friendly, informal atmosphere coupled with a serious approach to fund-raising and subsequent allocation of the money raised.

Members of other Lions Clubs frequently attend our meetings, mostly from Clubs not too far away, although we sometimes have the pleasure of welcoming Lions from round the world. Similarly, we arrange a visit to another Club's meeting every month : this gives our members who choose to attend a chance to see how other  Clubs operate, and glean new ideas for fund-raising, and other service activities.
